Retail Store Associate

Job Description The Store Associate plays a key role in driving success across our retail locations by engaging wholesale and retail customers, providing expert product guidance, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The Associate is responsible for resolving customer concerns, maintaining visual standards, meeting sales objectives, and supporting day‑to‑day store operations. Responsibilities Deliver excellent sales service to maintain high customer satisfaction. Assist customers in person and over the phone to determine product needs and present appropriate solutions. Build productive, trust‑based relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Process sales transactions accurately according to company policies and procedures. Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintain precise work order files and inventory records. Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse and prepare them for customer use. Tint and mix products as needed to meet customer specifications. Stock shelves, set up displays, and keep store equipment cleaned and organized. Load and unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries when required. Ensure assigned areas remain in‑stock and presentable at all times. Remain knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss available options with customers. Comply with inventory control and safety procedures. Suggest ways to improve sales performance and customer experience. Participate in required criminal history reviews to protect the company and its stakeholders. Minimum Requirements At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring a work‑visa sponsorship. Able to retrieve items from shelves and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation. Internal candidates must have received a “meets expectations” (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal. Internal candidates must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for the position. Preferred Qualifications Valid, unrestricted driver’s license. High school diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role. Experience selling paint and paint‑related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language. Proficiency in Spanish.
