Glenview, IL | On-Site | Fortune 300 Company A Fortune 300 global manufacturing organization headquartered in the northern suburbs of Chicago is seeking an Accountant or Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Finance & Accounting team supporting enterprise-wide management reporting, external segment financial statements, and investor relations communications. This is a high-visibility corporate finance role with excellent exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and meaningful opportunities for rotation and advancement within a well-resourced, admired organization. What You'll Do: Assist with the accounting close for the Management Reporting function — preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for both external and operational financial reporting Provide reporting of income statement and segment data from internal and external perspectives Support senior management and operating groups with financial application training and reporting Contribute to department initiatives and cross-functional Finance projects focused on process efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of financial information Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and propose enhancements Participate in ad hoc projects across the Corporate Finance & Accounting organization What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 1+ years of professional public accounting or corporate accounting experience required Strong analytical skills and business and financial acumen High standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and results orientation Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to execute projects efficiently with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Excel required; Oracle HFM experience a plus Must be able to work on-site 5 days per week at the Glenview, IL campus Why This Role Stands Out: Fortune 300 organization — named the #1 most admired company in its industry by Fortune Magazine multiple times High-visibility corporate finance seat with direct exposure to senior leadership and external reporting Meaningful opportunities for rotation and advancement within a large, global finance organization Beautiful corporate campus with fitness center, café, walking trails, and covered parking — one block from Metra Exceptional benefits including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, parental leave, and educational assistance Strong philanthropy culture — $22M+ donated and 16,000+ volunteer hours logged in 2024 alone #J-18808-Ljbffr Buckingham Search
