Senior Accountant

Pay: $85,000-100,000 (depending on experience) Work Schedule: Full-time, onsite (Niles office) Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). About The Company: Our client is a growing real estate investment and operations organization. The team is expanding and offers exposure to multiple areas of the business including accounting, asset management, and acquisitions. Job Description: The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities for a diversified real estate portfolio. This role works closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and timely reporting across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities: Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and reporting packages Assist with audit preparation by gathering required documentation and responding to auditor requests Partner with internal teams on financial analysis, reporting needs, and special projects as assigned Work with external tax advisors to provide supporting schedules and financial data for filings Review and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies Assist with year-end reporting requirements, including data compilation for regulatory and internal reporting needs Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required CPA certification or CPA track preferred 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, property accounting, or investment environments Experience in healthcare real estate, REITs, or commercial real estate strongly preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Yardi or similar property/accounting systems preferred Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and cross-functional Exposure to a growing portfolio with varied asset types High visibility role working closely with finance leadership Opportunity to support both operational accounting and strategic initiatives Fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities Collaborative, cross-functional team environment Exposure to acquisitions, asset management, and portfolio operations Strong growth potential within the accounting and finance function Office-based environment with team engagement and amenities #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
