Social Media Coordinator
13th Street Kitchens
SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING
13th Street Kitchens is seeking an ambitious and thorough Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Our group features several unique concepts including Café Lift Philly, Prohibition Taproom, La Chinesca, Café Lift Haddonfield, and Piccolina with more opening soon. We are seeking someone with an established record of generating interest for the various establishments, and has ad marketing experience to help boast exposure.
Reports to: Director of Operations, Ownership
Responsibilities:
- Work to build and maintain ROI-positive marketing campaigns designed to: ex.)drive top line revenue
- Increase brand awareness
- Showcase each brand’s atmosphere and persona
- Create a desirable space and presence to create a call to action
- Utilize platforms to gain new followers/guests outside of each restaurant’s physical reach and neighborhood
- Develop reporting tools to inform strategic decision-making
- Provide monthly data reports, learnings and statistics; Follower counts, unique views, likes, and overall engagement
- Work with leadership to solidify market positioning to staff and guests to ensure consistency and cohesion
- Evolve marketing KPIs (brand awareness, guest engagement, marketing spend per guest, ROMI, guest retention)
- Identify and update teams of current-competitive market-industry trends that can be leveraged into business opportunities
- Oversee cataloging and organizing marketing-related documents
- Manage marketing calendar and liaise with teams accordingly
- Develop email marketing (Mail Chimp) that deliver information and value
- Maintain and oversee all restaurant and company websites on SquarespaceKeep all photos up to date seasonally
- Maintain store and events pages on all sites
- Draft, publish and maintain social media scheduling and contentEngage with followers: Like, comment, respond to stories, posts, and DM
- Liaison for team members to capture seasonal activities, weekly menu specials, employee feature content, etc.
- Assist in the management/guest response of digital platforms including social media, website, review sites and google profiles (Google, Yelp, Opentable)
- Target key social influencers and act as a liaison for 13th Street KitchensForm a relationship with ‘foodie’ accounts and pages who encapsulate our target audience per each restaurant
- Oversee third-party partners for design, web, merchandise, PR, etc.
- Create, support, and manage promotional materials for the restaurant such as check presenters, framed posters, merchandise, etc.
- Order and maintain merchandise catalog for consumers and trade swag on Squarespace
- Drive attendance to company produced events on and offsite
- Work to expand the demographic reach of 13th Street Kitchens
- Set-up programs that build awareness for new company products, projects, etc.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, MS Office, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Squarespace
- Passion for understanding business drivers
- Experience in brand planning upon creativity, strategic alignment, and consumer impact
- Experience in photography and videography
- Understanding of social media KPIs and web traffic metrics
- Familiarity with web design and publishing
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills, must have the ability to work alone
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- BA in Marketing or similar relevant field
- Flexible schedule with occasional night and weekend availability
