Sales Compensation & Incentives Lead

The Sales Compensation & Incentives Lead owns execution of sales compensation plans across IB Legal, ensuring incentives are accurate, timely, and aligned to business objectives. This role is responsible not only for administering compensation, but also for continuously improving how plans are structured, calculated, and delivered. IB Legal is evolving its GTM model across multiple legacy businesses, and this role will help ensure incentives and payouts remain aligned as the model converges.

Key responsibilities include administering sales compensation plans and payout processes, calculating and validating commissions and incentive payments, maintaining compensation models and payout logic, supporting updates to compensation plans as GTM structure evolves, and resolving compensation inquiries and discrepancies.

Process improvement and automation efforts involve identifying opportunities to simplify and automate compensation processes, improving tools, workflows, and data models used in compensation, leveraging technology (including AI) to improve efficiency and accuracy, and reducing manual effort and cycle time in compensation administration.

What you'll work on includes monthly commission calculations and payout validation, supporting changes to compensation plans as GTM evolves, and improving how compensation is calculated, tracked, and reported.

Qualifications include 1–3 years in compensation, finance, or operations, strong Excel and data modeling skills, and experience working with compensation or financial data preferred.

Success in role includes accurate and timely compensation payouts, simplified and more efficient compensation processes, incentives aligned with revenue goals, and reduced manual work and improved operational efficiency.
