AR/AP Specialist Opportunity

Put your experience across both sides of accounting to work in an AR/AP Specialist role where your day will have plenty of variety. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys moving between cash application, invoicing, AP processing, and month-end priorities rather than focusing on just one accounting function.

This global technology and manufacturing company develops precision drive systems and components used in demanding industrial applications. This position works onsite as part of an experienced accounting team preparing for a major ERP transition.

Job Type: Temporary (4-5 day workweek)

• Expected to continue through approximately April 2027

AR/AP Specialist Job Duties:

• Process AP invoices, including account coding, approvals, three-way matching, and invoice auditing.
• Apply daily cash receipts from lockbox deposits, credit cards, ACH payments, and wires.
• Prepare customer invoices and enter invoices into customer web portals.
• Maintain electronic AP documentation and work with Purchasing, internal departments, and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Support ERP-related accounting processes and balance transactions to reporting systems.

Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pay: $24-28 per hour depending on experience

AR/AP Specialist Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience.
• Experience with AP invoice processing, coding, and three-way matching.
• Hands-on AR experience with cash application and customer invoicing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• ERP experience preferred, particularly SAP.
