This role oversees all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations — leading leaders and teams to achieve best-in-class service, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on strategist who brings urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement to everything they lead.**Job Description:****What You’ll Do** As the Director of Operations, you’ll oversee all aspects of warehouse and delivery operations — from receiving and inventory management to order fulfillment, distribution, and delivery. You’ll lead and develop a team of managers, supervisors, leads, clerks, and warehouse associates to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer service.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead day and night warehouse teams to achieve safety, accuracy, and productivity goals.* Lead the delivery team on safety, efficiencies, and overall performance goals* Foster a positive, high-performance culture built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.* Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, replenishment, and outbound shipping.* Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations.* Monitor key performance indicators and use data to drive decisions and process improvements.* Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse — ensuring equipment, layout, and safety standards support efficient operations.* Recruit, train, and develop team members, creating clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.* Partner with other departments (Sales, Delivery, and HR) to align operational goals and support company initiatives.**What We’re Looking For*** 10+ years of warehouse and distribution management experience leading multi-shift teams.* Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate diverse teams.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — comfortable using data to drive performance.* Excellent communication and organizational skills.* Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite* NetSuite experience (preferred)* Understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations.* Flexibility to support both day and night operations as needed.Johnson Brothers is an equal opportunity employer, committed to fair treatment and hiring based on qualifications.
