Role Overview For our client, we are seeking a 88-50100454 Chief of Staff for the Computational Center of Excellence to join a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross‑functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment. Location: South San Francisco, CA – US‑based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $327,000 – $373,800 annually. Responsibilities Plan and drive operations for the Computational Center of Excellence. Assist executives in decision‑making and program management. Prepare and manage Leadership Team meeting agendas and outcomes. Identify risks and opportunities in computational drug discovery. Lead special projects that require cross‑disciplinary inputs. Facilitate cross‑functional alignment across teams for effective implementation of initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across various domains. Qualifications Master's degree in Engineering or related field. 7 years of experience in a relevant leadership role. Expertise in drug discovery and development. Knowledge of computational sciences, data, and AI. Experience managing R&D programs focused on data science and machine learning. Benefits Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
