About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice Dean for Development and Alumni Relations to lead a comprehensive, strategic, and growth-oriented program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conceptualization, strategy, and implementation of a fundraising and alumni relations program, with a focus on private and corporate source fundraising. The Vice Dean will also be a key leader in the Dean's Advisory Group, playing a pivotal role in the leadership and management of a team, and will be expected to have a strong track record in securing major gifts and commitments. Applicants for the Vice Dean position at the company should have a Master's degree and 7-10 years of successful fundraising experience, including a proven record of securing 6, 7, and 8-figure gifts. The role requires strong management and program administration skills, the ability to establish objectives, set performance standards, and motivate staff, faculty, and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be highly motivated, and have the capacity for hard work in a goal-driven environment. They should also be adept at building and maintaining relationships, both within the organization and with external stakeholders.
