Front Desk Medical Receptionist/ Medical assistant

Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Previous experience in a medical front office or healthcare setting is required
Strong multitasking and communication skills
Familiarity with insurance plans and prior authorization processes
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally

Perform insurance verifications for new and existing patients Process and follow up on prior authorizations for medications, procedures, or referrals

Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
