Facilities Maintenance WorkerAs a Facilities Maintenance Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. You will be responsible for conducting daily inspections, addressing maintenance issues, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for all employees and visitors.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily walkthroughs of parking lots to identify and address trash and safety concerns.Respond to safety, emergency, or maintenance issues, prioritizing tasks to minimize disruption.Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs, including plumbing, wall patching, painting, and more.Organize and assist with new hire setups and office relocations.Set up and tear down equipment for meetings, trainings, and company functions.Schedule and oversee service calls with contractors for maintenance and repairs.Support facilities record keeping and administrative duties.Manage supply inventory, ensuring timely reordering to maintain required levels.Maintain cleanliness and order in maintenance and common areas.Perform regular maintenance of coffee machines and breakroom appliances.Sort and distribute daily mail.Assist with porter/janitor tasks as needed.Contribute to various ad hoc duties and projects as directed by the Sr. Facilities Manager.Essential SkillsStrong experience in plumbing, facilities maintenance, cleaning, HVAC, janitorial duties, and building maintenance.High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.Ability to work independently and propose efficiency improvements.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with a focus on safety.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.Capability to follow instructions and ask questions as needed.Physical ability to use a ladder and lift up to 50lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsCommercial facilities experience preferred.OSHA Certification is a plus.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team that values employee contributions and fosters a collaborative environment.
