We serve homeowners, seniors, families, property managers, healthcare organizations, and commercial clients throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.Applicants must have their own tools, a valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle capable of transporting tools and materials to customer locations throughout Nassau and/or Suffolk Counties.Position SummaryWe are seeking a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused Handyman / Home Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced handyman, carpenter, maintenance technician, or tradesperson looking for flexible part-time work with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the company expands.ResponsibilitiesPerform general handyman repairs and home maintenance servicesInstall grab bars, handrails, and accessibility modificationsComplete drywall, painting, carpentry, trim, and repair workAssemble furniture, gazebos, sheds, and equipmentInstall doors, locks, hardware, shelving, and fixturesPerform home safety modifications for older adultsDocument completed work with photos (Before and after pictures)Communicate professionally with clients and office staffMaintain a clean and safe work environmentRepresent TruBlue professionally at all timesRequired Qualifications2+ years of handyman, construction, maintenance, carpentry, or related experienceAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProfessional appearance and excellent customer service skillsMust possess and maintain a complete set of hand and power tools necessary to perform handyman servicesMust have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting tools and materials to job sitesValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders when neededStrong communication and time-management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with aging-in-place or accessibility modificationsExperience working directly with homeownersResidential maintenance or property management experienceOSHA certification (preferred but not required)Compensation & Benefits$25+ per hour based on experienceFlexible schedulingPart-time position with opportunity to grow into full-time employmentSupportive and growing team environmentService AreaNassau County and/or Suffolk County, New York
