Senior Accountant

Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and provide recommendations for improvement. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets, identify variances, and provide insightful analysis and recommendations. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and trend analysis. Identify areas of improvement, propose solutions, and provide actionable recommendations to management. Oversee Fixed Asset process Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Assist in coordinating internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations, and implementing audit recommendations. Continuously evaluate existing accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements. Develop and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance financial reporting accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of relevant experience. CPA would be viewed as a plus Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial accounting standards.
