Facility Security Coordinator Aviation & Cargo Operations

We are seeking a detail-oriented Facility Security Coordinator to support cargo screening and compliance operations within a fast-paced aviation logistics environment near LAX. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to TSA Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF) regulations, maintaining audit readiness, and supporting daily screening operations. Ideal candidates are former military leadersespecially prior enlisted or Non-Commissioned Officerswith strong administrative, quality assurance, safety, or compliance backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure cargo screening personnel maintain all required initial and recurring certifications/training
• Monitor and maintain screening logs, compliance records, and audit documentation
• Conduct internal audits, inspections, and operational assessments
• Review airway bills and screening records to ensure regulatory compliance
• Monitor CCTV footage and support operational oversight during equipment outages
• Coordinate with independent auditors and maintain accurate reporting documentation
• Support daily security and screening operations within designated screening areas

Preferred Background

• Military leadership experience strongly preferred (prior enlisted/NCO ideal)
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Safety, Auditing, Security, or compliance-focused programs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a highly regulated environment
• Experience with aviation, logistics, or transportation operations is a plus
