Travel Ultrasound Tech Position

This travel Ultrasound Tech position in New Haven, CT with Advantis Medical is an 8-week travel Ultrasound Tech contract at Yale New Haven Hospital. This role pays $2,456 per week and follows a nights shift with a 5x8 schedule.

In this travel Ultrasound Tech role, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Travel Ultrasound Tech Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent Ultrasound Tech experience
• Must hold all required Ultrasound Tech certifications and licenses as mandated by Connecticut and national regulatory bodies

Yale New Haven Hospital — New Haven, CT

Yale New Haven's allied work runs at quaternary academic scale — Level I trauma, a 500,000-square-foot NCI cancer hospital, an intraoperative MRI in the neurosurgical OR, and one of the densest imaging operations in the Northeast.

• The radiology operation spans roughly a dozen CT scanners and multiple 3T MRIs (including a neonatal MR unit in the NICU), with Level I trauma and stroke volume keeping CT and interventional radiology in regular use.
• Smilow Cancer Hospital carries radiation therapy, 12 operating rooms, infusion suites, and diagnostic and therapeutic radiology for adults and children — deep ground for rad-onc, dosimetry, and oncology-imaging roles.
• A 3T intraoperative MRI within the neurosurgical OR suite supports advanced neuro and imaging-tech work.
• The comprehensive transplant center and certified heart program drive cardiac cath, EP, and transplant-related OR and procedural caseloads.
• Pediatric imaging and respiratory therapy at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital add neonatal and pediatric allied tracks.
