Truck Driver CDL A Regional and Flex Travel

Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Taunton, MA. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a career where you can feel good about your contribution. Compensation & Schedule Average weekly pay in MA: $1,500–$1,800. Average weekly pay when traveling: $1,900–$2,100. Hourly pay: $30.00 per hour. Travel time pay: $25.50 per hour. Weekly guarantee: $1,200 – average $1,700 plus weekly. Hours per week: 50–60. Mileage reimbursement: $0.70 after 50 miles. Paid training provided. Benefits Medical, dental & vision after 30 days. 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1. Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, and guidelines. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards. Maintain accurate records and logs. Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age. Pass a Ryder drug test. Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years). Pass a DOT physical. Pass a Ryder road test. Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position. Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within last 10 years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.
