Associate Director, Clinical Trial Operations

Nkarta Therapeutics seeks an Associate Director of Clinical Trial Operations to manage operational activities for assigned clinical programs and oversee internal and external resources. The role ensures trial delivery aligned with corporate objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards while partnering with internal teams, investigative sites, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall study and program deliverables throughout study lifecycle
• Coordinate clinical study activities from planning through site qualification, monitoring, and closeout
• Maintain study timelines and communicate issues impacting budget, resources, or schedules
• Lead risk management and mitigation strategies to ensure quality and timeline delivery
• Oversee CRO and external vendor performance management and governance

Requirements

• Experience managing clinical trial operations and study deliverables
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, FDA regulations, and global regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated ability to oversee CROs and external clinical vendors
• Project management skills with budget and timeline accountability
• Experience developing clinical study documents and protocols
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
