This busy 300-bed hospital in Queens, NY maintains an active operating room program with 5 ORs and 2 endoscopy suites supporting a diverse general surgical caseload. The anesthesia department operates under a physician supervision model with a staff of 11 physicians and 5 CRNAs, providing comprehensive perioperative care delivery. The facility focuses on general surgical procedures and maintains established workflows designed to support quality patient care.

Queens, NY offers a range of community and recreational activities suited to diverse interests. The borough is home to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, which features Arthur Ashe Stadium, the largest tennis venue in the world with seating for more than 23,000 fans. Clinicians on assignment will also find family-oriented programming, STEM workshops, local markets, arts events, and community activities at venues such as Queens Public Library and neighborhood parks throughout the area.

Clinicians in this role will provide hands-on anesthesia services during night shifts at an operating room facility in Queens, NY, with a preferred schedule of 5x10-hour shifts and consideration given to 4x10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The surgical case mix consists primarily of general bread-and-butter cases, including OB/GYN, vascular, and thoracic procedures; neurological and cardiac cases are excluded from this assignment. All clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens position, and board certification is negotiable.
