Solar Laborer- Tool Technician AssistantThis position involves maintaining hydraulic riveting tools and diesel pumps used for installing solar tracking systems. The role includes partnering with an onsite mechanic as a helper and providing coverage when the mechanic is not present. Reliability and mechanical aptitude are crucial for this position.Responsibilities:Maintain and repair hydraulic riveting tools and diesel pumps.Partner with the onsite mechanic and provide support.Issue and retrieve hand tools daily, ensuring they are cleaned and maintained.Conduct routine service and inspections on equipment.Identify faults and perform necessary repairs.Adhere to company and worksite safety standards.Maintain an organized and clean workspace.Essential Skills:Experience with construction and hand tools.Mechanically inclined with a background in solar site operations.Ability to conduct routine equipment service.Proficiency in identifying faults and performing repairs.Excellent communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Preferred but not required- Previous experience on a solar site.Demonstrated mechanical aptitude in previous roles.Basic problem-solving skills.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract position based out of Lynchburg, OH.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
