Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary The Quality Control Inspector, under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, performs all quality tasks necessary to ensure product quality in the areas of in-process inspection, incoming inspection and final inspection. This includes the management of non-conforming material. Responsibilities Management and maintain the documentation, filing and tracking of incoming inspection reports, as well as non-conforming material reports for incoming, in-process and final inspections. Act as a technical liaison between Quality Engineering and Operations/Engineering for non-conforming material reports/complaints to ensure issues are resolved to best prevent further occurrences. Support activities with Operations, Purchasing and Quality regarding non-conforming material returns and closure of reports. Perform final inspection and operational testing of units and review of Device History Records prior to shipment. Support calibration activities including record maintenance and scheduling of calibration. Support MRB meetings for NCMR reviews, as required. Aid in the maintenance of all inspection and production records in line with procedures. Promote a culture of Quality focused compliance with customer needs and regulatory requirements. Experience Requirements H/S diploma, or equivalent 2-4 years related experience Able to read/write in the English language must have attention to detail Must be able to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and be comfortable learning new software programs Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to [25–50] pounds as required. Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and written communication.
