IT Business Analyst

Insight Global is seeking an IT Business Analyst for our not-for-profit client in Asheville, NC. In this role, you will join a team responsible for developing business requirements, enhancing processes and systems, and supporting implementation of new business solutions for the company's internal benefits, enrollment and claims platforms. This person will also analyze workflows, document procedures, and partner across teams to optimize operational performance and business applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to assess needs, gather requirements, and define system functionality.
• Translate user needs into business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze workflows, recommend process improvements, and create supporting documentation.
• Support implementation of new initiatives, including testing, documentation, and training.
• Serve as primary technical support for business applications, including configuration, integration, upgrades, and vendor collaboration.
• Lead and manage projects to successful, on-time, on-budget completion.
• Monitor industry trends and assess applicability to organizational systems and processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of IT Business Analyst experience
- Strong facilitation, decision-making, and requirements-writing skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical terms


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Jira or Confluence experience
- Healthcare or medical benefits industry experience
- Experience with business process modeling
