About the Role:

The FSW/Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of accommodation and food service activities by providing reliable transportation and support services. This position involves safely transporting goods, supplies, and occasionally personnel to various locations, contributing directly to the efficiency and quality of service delivery. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, as the driver often represents the company in external interactions. Additionally, the FSW/Driver supports facility maintenance and setup tasks, enhancing the overall guest experience. Success in this role results in timely deliveries, well-maintained vehicles, and seamless coordination between service teams and operational logistics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely, typically up to 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to navigate directions to and from designated schools.
• Dependability and reliability is very important for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a driver or food service worker role within the accommodation and food services industry.
• Familiarity with local routes and delivery logistics in the United States.
• Customer service experience, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills.
• Basic first aid and food safety training.

Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport food and supplies to designated locations within scheduled timeframes.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety and cleanliness.
• Support food service workers by assisting with setup, breakdown, and general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents or delays encountered during routes.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any logistical issues.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.

Skills:

The required skills such as safe driving, vehicle maintenance, and physical stamina are essential for daily transportation and delivery tasks, ensuring goods and personnel arrive on time and in good condition. Communication skills are used to coordinate with team members and provide excellent customer service during interactions. Organizational skills help in managing delivery schedules and maintaining accurate records. Preferred skills like knowledge of local routes and prior experience enhance efficiency and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
