Direct Support Professional

Job Title and Location Direct Support Professional – Whittier, CA Full Time & Part Time. Hourly rate $21.00 – $29.00/hr (depending on certifications). Shifts: AM, PM, NOC. Responsibilities Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in Individual Program Plans. Assist clients with bathroom needs. Change clients’ undergarments and/or clothing as needed. Prepare daily meals and assist with clean‑up. Pick up/drop off clients in company vans from/to their homes or facilities when required. Qualifications Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (must obtain within first 12 months of hire). Registered Behavior Technician Certificate – RBT (must obtain within first 12 months of hire). First Aid/CPR & CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention (preferred or willing to obtain). Minimum age 21 years. Valid California driver’s license. Successfully pass all pre‑employment requirements, including a background check. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
