Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist for Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Porterville Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. This vital role involves working closely with patients in an orthopedic outpatient setting, helping them regain strength, mobility, and overall quality of life through tailored physical therapy interventions. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine resources designed to empower patients on their path to recovery. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in an onsite, collaborative environment alongside two other experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). At our facility, we prioritize teamwork, open communication, and mutual support, creating an enriching atmosphere that not only fosters professional development but also enhances patient experiences. Our current operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced workload for our therapists.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and treatment objectives within a healthcare setting.
• Efficiently manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and effective therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques tailored to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Provide cost-effective treatment options to minimize reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices to deliver proven interventions for maximum quality outcomes.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery journey, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document each patient's progress and treatment services meticulously to ensure comprehensive care records.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians and specialists, to optimize interdisciplinary patient care.
• Regularly assess the effects of interventions, adjusting plans as necessary to meet patient goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic comprises individuals with orthopedic concerns, often treated under private medical insurance. As a member of the Porterville team, you will be dedicated to assisting a diverse array of patients, each with unique backgrounds and rehabilitation needs. Your role will embody a commitment to enhancing each patient's quality of life through personalized care strategies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a valid physical therapist license.
• Certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Evidence of a clean professional record without any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Extensive knowledge and demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques.
• Capable of developing and conducting therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to manage patient documentation and workflow.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy environment.
• Demonstrated success in implementing fitness and wellness programs tailored to varying patient needs.
• Experience working in a team-oriented healthcare setting that values collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
