SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team. Based in Trenton, New Jersey, the successful candidate will work primarily within home care settings, providing essential therapy services to clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Our team comprises two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) who collaborate closely to offer personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on providing high-quality care without the constraints often found in larger healthcare systems.

Work Environment

This full-time position allows for a structured schedule, with working hours from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. As an onsite provider in the home care setting, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with patients in their own environments, a setting proven to enhance comfort and engagement in therapy. This personalized approach not only fosters trust and rapport but also allows for real-time assessments of how patients perform in their everyday lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the individual objectives and requirements of each patient upon their initial intake.
• Manage a workload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring each session is productive and outcomes-focused.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based care plans incorporating a diverse range of treatment techniques tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that aim to enhance clients' functional abilities and mobility, reducing reliance on medications and avoiding surgical options when possible.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery and improvement.
• Engage in thorough documentation of services rendered, maintaining meticulous records that comply with healthcare regulations.
• Foster a motivating environment for patients, encouraging them throughout their rehabilitation journey and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population primarily includes individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation services. Patients typically range from athletes recovering from injuries to older adults managing chronic conditions. As a physical therapist at our facility, you will be pivotal in helping diverse patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualification.
• A valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record, without board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and strength training exercises.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, preferably WebPT, to maintain documentation and patient records.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated skills in developing and executing fitness and wellness programs that address patient-specific goals.
• Experience in patient motivation strategies and techniques for encouraging rehabilitation compliance.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
