Work Environment

This role is based in a home care setting, enabling you to work directly with patients in the comfort of their homes. Here, you will have a unique opportunity to develop personal relationships with your patients, which can significantly influence their rehabilitation outcomes. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a manageable patient load of 5 to 7 individuals each day, allowing you to focus intently on effective treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Privado Chiropractic LLC, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing thorough orthopedic evaluations to identify patients' functional limitations, pain levels, and specific treatment needs.
• Creating and modifying personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, utilizing advanced therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities.
• Administering evidence-based interventions that emphasize recovery and prevention, such as tailored exercise regimens and education on injury avoidance.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, including evaluations, treatment outcomes, and ongoing adjustments to care plans, complying with state regulations and facility policies.
• Engaging in case discussions and reviews with team members to facilitate coordinated, comprehensive care pathways for each patient.
• Educating patients and their families about health maintenance, injury prevention strategies, and effective home exercises to empower them in their recovery.
• Staying abreast of advancements in orthopedic physical therapy and integrating new methodologies into practice to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and age-related degenerative issues. By working closely with patients in their homes, you'll be able to observe their daily challenges, leading to more personalized and impactful rehabilitation experiences.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current physical therapy license in good standing in the State of New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of experience in clinical practice, with a focus on orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• A commitment to collaboration, demonstrating strong communication skills to effectively operate within a multidisciplinary care team.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will also have:

• Experience in home care settings, allowing for a better understanding of the unique dynamics of providing therapy in patients' residences.
• Additional certifications in orthopedic specialties, such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or advanced manual therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
