Work Environment

Your role will take place onsite at our comprehensive rehabilitation facility in Princeton, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including reviewing patient history and performing specific assessments to determine individual needs, and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to both patients and their families, actively involving them in goal setting and decision-making.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's evaluation, current presentation, and overall health objectives to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on interdisciplinary teams to recognize changes in patients' conditions, adjusting care plans as necessary, and ensuring comprehensive support.
• Manage discharge planning effectively, providing detailed follow-up care instructions, and maintaining timely documentation of patient interactions and progress notes to meet regulatory standards.
• Balance effective time management to meet productivity expectations while ensuring high-quality patient interactions and maintaining an organized schedule.
• Engage in departmental initiatives to enhance patient access to care, participate in community marketing events, and support the organization's goals through active participation.
• Pursue continuing education and professional development, taking the initiative to remain competent in the field and serving as a clinical instructor when appropriate.
• Promote an outstanding customer experience and adapt flexibly to the needs of patients, contributing to a culture of excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working with a diverse population encompassing patients recovering from surgery, injury, chronic illnesses, and various orthopedic and neurological conditions. Your ability to assess and treat patients of varying ages and backgrounds will be essential in fostering their recovery and enhancing quality of life. You will focus on delivering care that acknowledges the unique needs and preferences of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with progressive skills and knowledge in patient evaluation and treatment methods.
• A valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
• Must possess American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
