Work Environment

This position is onsite, predominantly in a home care setting, allowing you to engage directly with patients in their familiar environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and limitations in their homes.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on self-care practices, exercise regimens, and appropriate use of assistive devices.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and share insights on treatment effectiveness.
• Stay current with the latest physical therapy research and techniques through continuous education and participation in professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You'll be working with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from young athletes to the elderly, each requiring specialized care tailored to their unique challenges and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Currently holding a valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient engagement and documentation.
• Adept in using technology, particularly in electronic documentation and patient management systems.
• Possess a flexible approach to work, adapting to the unique needs of each patient.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home healthcare or outpatient settings is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
