Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will be working onsite in a well-equipped rehabilitation facility in Matawan, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic modalities and exercises suited to a diverse range of conditions, with a particular focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining open communication with patients and their caretakers, ensuring their needs are met throughout the recovery process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes through a combination of advanced therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Offer educational resources and training to patients and their families to enhance understanding of their conditions and promote effective home-based exercises.
• Meet established utilization goals while adhering to the highest standards of care and professional ethics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a varied patient population, treating individuals across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties. Your ability to connect with patients of different backgrounds and ages will be essential in tailoring treatment programs that promote recovery and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly using word processing programs for documentation.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with patients to motivate them in achieving their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
