Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy to a diverse patient population, focusing on restoring mobility and alleviating pain through comprehensive treatment plans.

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to develop individualized treatment strategies.

• Implement and modify treatment programs tailored to the needs of each patient, based on established treatment plans and ongoing evaluations of progress.

• Document patient care activities meticulously, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Engage in effective discharge planning and ensure appropriate follow-up care is communicated to patients and their families.

• Collaborate closely with fellow clinicians, physicians, and other healthcare providers to maintain a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Participate in team meetings and clinical discussions to foster an environment of shared learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Trails Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with patients suffering from a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will be essential in guiding patients through their recovery journeys and helping them regain both function and confidence in their physical abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.

• A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.

• Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) as per American Heart Association standards.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred, showcasing a strong foundation in clinical assessment and treatment protocols.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage caseloads efficiently while providing personalized care.

Compensation and Benefits
