Work Environment

This position will be in an onsite home care setting, where you will provide therapy in the comfort of our patients' homes. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' functional abilities to develop personalized therapy plans that cater to individual needs.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches in your treatment sessions to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and improve overall quality of life for patients.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, consisting of physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists, to provide holistic care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on necessary therapeutic exercises, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention, ensuring they have the tools to contribute actively to their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and facilitating effective communication within the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse array of clients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries sustained from accidents, and those managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will adapt treatment methods to cater to different age groups and backgrounds, ensuring that each patient receives culturally competent care that addresses their specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy, specifically within the orthopedic realm.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to make informed decisions that prioritize patient outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
