Work Environment

This position is onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility in New Brunswick, which serves as a hub of healing and comprehensive care. As a full-time member of our team, you will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, enjoying the work-life balance that our flexible scheduling offers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities, utilizing advanced assessment techniques tailored for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on empirical evidence that aligns with each patient's unique recovery goals.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and educate patients on therapeutic exercises to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and restore function.
• Work in concert with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports adhering to both regulatory standards and best practices.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and families regarding treatment modalities, rehabilitation goals, and injury prevention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily be working with a diverse array of patients suffering from orthopedic issues, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your holistic approach allows us to cater to each individual's specific needs, fostering a warm, inclusive atmosphere that supports healing and personal empowerment.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic physical therapy and manual techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with team members.
• CPR/BLS certification for healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in outpatient or orthopedic settings is preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records systems is a plus.
• Aptitude for using current evidence-based practices for patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and has opportunities for bonuses based on performance. In addition, we provide:
