Work Environment

This position is onsite in our vibrant outpatient office, which serves as a collaborative space for our dedicated team of physical therapists and support staff. You will be working closely with two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) to develop individualized treatment plans and provide hands-on rehabilitation therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify patients' objectives, requirements, and challenges related to their mobility and functional abilities.
• Efficiently manage a scheduled workload of one patient per hour, delivering focused, quality care to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Create and implement customized care plans that incorporate a diverse range of evidence-based treatment techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
• Utilize your knowledge of manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens to facilitate rehabilitation goals and enhance patients' functional recovery.
• Deliver cost-effective treatments that aim to minimize reliance on medications and provide alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment efficacy, ensuring clear communication within the healthcare team.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle among patients by enhancing their strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance through tailored wellness programs.
• Continuously engage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to maximize their functional potential.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Regularly assess treatment effects and monitor ongoing patient progress, providing feedback and readjusting care plans as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice mainly caters to patients with orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management and sports-related injuries. We prioritize establishing strong therapeutic relationships with patients, ensuring they feel supported and empowered on their recovery journey. Our goal is to restore their mobility and improve their overall quality of life through targeted interventions and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean record, demonstrating no disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and successfully developing exercise programs tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a physical therapist role within an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to develop effective and patient-centric rehabilitation plans that yield positive clinical outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, between USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
