Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time at Austin Rehab Center

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at the Austin Rehab Center in Spotswood, New Jersey. Work Environment

You will work in a vibrant and supportive onsite setting, interacting with a diverse team of health care professionals. Our facility is designed to promote optimal healing, equipped with the latest technology and rehabilitation tools. Your work schedule will follow a consistent pattern of Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients to determine the physical limitations and rehabilitation needs, employing various assessment techniques.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans that incorporate manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, ensuring alignment with best practices in orthopedic care.
• Monitor patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols based on their responses and recovery trajectory to maximize outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other members of the care team, participating actively in case discussions and offering insights to enhance patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, self-management strategies, and injury prevention, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily provide care to adults aged 40 to 65, many of whom present with orthopedic conditions often related to chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sports injuries. Our patients value the individualized attention and expert care that our team offers, and your ability to build rapport will be essential in facilitating their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey, demonstrating compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, showcasing practical expertise and a solid understanding of therapeutic strategies.
• Proficiency with WebPT or similar electronic health record systems is a plus, enabling efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, we value candidates who demonstrate proficiency in advanced manual therapy techniques, prior experience in a multidisciplinary care environment, and a commitment to continuous professional development through ongoing education opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

This competitive position offers a salary range of $110,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
