We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility situated in a spacious 5,000 square feet area in Elizabeth, NJ. We specialize in orthopedic outpatient care, primarily serving patients with private medical insurance who seek to recover from injuries and enhance their physical capabilities. Our mission is to provide personalized care that facilitates healing and rejuvenation, with a focus on evidence-based practices. Our team, consisting of experienced physical therapists and support staff, is committed to fostering a healing environment where patients feel valued and empowered.

Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center offers an onsite, collaborative atmosphere where every team member plays a crucial role in patient care. The center is equipped with modern rehabilitation tools and techniques that ensure patients receive high-quality therapies tailored to their individual needs. As a Physical Therapist in our rehab center, you will work closely with a supporting team, including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, emphasizing teamwork and shared responsibility for patient care. The regular work schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs, setting personalized recovery objectives.
• Utilize your expertise to manage a caseload of one patient per hour while providing focused, individualized care.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
• Constantly monitor patients' progress and adapt treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes, complying with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices to improve patients' strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical wellness.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and the importance of adherence to prescribed therapy programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our clientele is primarily covered by private medical insurance, which allows for a focus on personalized treatment plans aimed at improving functional abilities and overall health. Our therapists extend their care to diverse age groups, tailoring interventions that meet the specific rehabilitation needs of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualification is required.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clear professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to varied patient needs.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR Software platforms, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in improving patient outcomes through personalized therapy plans.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on maintaining open dialogue with patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
