Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include evidence-based interventions, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adapting treatments as necessary in alignment with evolving therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to create a cohesive care plan that promotes optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding home exercise programs and effective injury prevention techniques to enhance rehabilitation success.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on team feedback.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards while documenting patient treatments, progress, and relevant communications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Integrative Manual Therapy and Wellness, our primary patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain disorders, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, fostering an environment of support and encouragement that enables them to achieve their personal wellness goals.

Qualifications

• A Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapy License is mandatory.
• At least 2-3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient or orthopedic setting is essential for this role.
• Current BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
