Our clinic is designed with patient care in mind, featuring a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot facility dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation. As a PT-owned practice, we cultivate an environment that prioritizes both professional development and individualized patient care, serving a diverse clientele primarily covered by private medical insurance.

Work Environment

The position is onsite at our modern outpatient office in Old Bridge, New Jersey. You will be joining a cohesive team that currently includes two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The supportive environment encourages collaboration and knowledge-sharing, enhancing the care provided to each patient. Our regular work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' objectives and individual needs and create tailored treatment plans to achieve these goals.
• Handle a case load of up to one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated time for personalized care and effective therapy sessions.
• Implement evidence-based rehabilitation strategies, emphasizing manual therapy techniques to facilitate healing and functional improvement.
• Design and lead specific exercise protocols that enhance patients' strength, balance, and overall wellness.
• Maintain open communication with patients regarding progress, ensuring they are engaged and motivated throughout their treatment plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies for optimal patient outcomes.
• Keep accurate documentation of all service provisions, therapy sessions, and treatment results in accordance with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Sierra Orthopedic Clinic, we work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and injuries. Our diverse clientele includes active individuals ranging from amateur athletes to those coping with chronic pain or mobility-related challenges. Your role as a Physical Therapist will significantly impact their recovery journey and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license, reflecting a commitment to ethical practice.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated capacity for developing effective exercise interventions.
• Experience with WebPT EMR software to streamline patient documentation and manage therapy records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in managing diverse patient caseloads effectively.
• Familiarity with current best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
