Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where our team works closely to deliver comprehensive care. In addition to two physical therapists, we are proud to have a physical therapy assistant (PTA) who plays a crucial role in patient treatment. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients' individual objectives and needs through thorough evaluations to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated time for evaluation, treatment, and follow-up.
• Implement evidence-based treatments aimed at improving range of motion, strength, and mobility while promoting a safe return to daily activities.
• Reduce patient reliance on medications by exploring non-surgical treatment options and optimizing functional performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to facilitate a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs that cater to individual patient requirements and goals.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously in accordance with our clinic's standards and protocols.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive recovery environment.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients seeking rehabilitation after orthopedic procedures or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We emphasize individualized care plans that consider the unique backgrounds, challenges, and recovery aspirations of each patient, ensuring that their specific needs are always addressed.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license for the state of New Jersey (NJ), with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and creating tailored exercise protocols for diverse patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to document and share patient information efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and patients.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings, with a focus on hands-on rehabilitative care.
• Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic modalities and treatment technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
