Work Environment

The position is an onsite role located in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility, where practitioners enjoy a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced schedule that encourages professional development and a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with various orthopedic conditions, ensuring a thorough understanding of their medical history and physical abilities.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient-specific needs, utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training methods.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention strategies, proper movement mechanics, and the importance of adherence to prescribed home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and medical staff, to optimize patient care and treatment plans, ensuring effective communication within the multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor patients' progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation and physical therapy practice through continuous professional development and education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating adult patients with a wide range of orthopedic issues. Our clientele includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, those undergoing postoperative rehabilitation, and patients suffering from chronic orthopedic conditions. The Physical Therapist will engage with diverse patients to provide personalized care that addresses their specific challenges and promotes positive health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is essential, with preference given to candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or its equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Compensation and Benefits
