Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist for Outpatient Rehabilitation

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Orthopedic Outpatient practice located in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Our team includes two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment for both staff and patients.

Work Environment

The role requires you to work onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Old Bridge, New Jersey. This comfortable and modern clinical setting features specialized equipment and resources necessary for effective orthopedic care. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and continuously evaluate patients' musculoskeletal conditions to identify their goals and needs.
• Treat 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring personalized care through tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to offer cost-effective intervention strategies that reduce reliance on medication and surgical solutions.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans employing various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment protocols as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Engage in discussions with patients, motivating them throughout their rehabilitation journey to promote engagement and adherence to treatment.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment protocols thoroughly and accurately for compliance and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient management.
• Promote and educate patients on the importance of a healthy lifestyle by emphasizing movement principles such as strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. You will provide compassionate care tailored to each patient's unique situation, helping them regain function and achieve their personal health goals. Your role is critical in guiding patients toward improved mobility and quality of life, ensuring they receive the support and encouragement necessary for successful rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role is preferred, especially in an outpatient orthopedic practice setting. Experience with EMR systems and patient management software is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
