Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) LADS Effectors department within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Directorate is searching for a Section Leader to join our team. The SI&T LADS Effectors Department provides system engineering, integration, and test expertise to the effectors, radars, sensors and C2 networks on ship and shore-based programs within Raytheon.As a Section Leader, the candidate will be expected to actively participate in leadership team goals and initiatives, support department hiring, support program staffing, provide employee feedback and mentoring, and be actively involved in daily program operations. This position provides an opportunity to grow your skillset by contributing to the development of our workforce.What You Will Do:Lead a team of engineers and technicians.Establish meaningful and measurable goals and communicate effectively with the team.Oversee the direct line management activities for the section including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition.Support department and directorate level initiativesEnsure employee compliance with company policies and procedures.Oversight of personnel issue resolutionTimecard approvalsAdhere to and ensure alignment to Raytheon Technologies Values and BehaviorsWork as a technical lead or individual contributor; Section Leader duties account for approximately 10% of the employee’s time.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.Experience with LADS program portfolio. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
