About the Position

Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Valid Allied license required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - OR experience required - Experience in trauma level I and II required Description: This position does not require floating between units. On-call and weekend work are not required. Block scheduling is not necessary. Expected patient ratio is 1:1. Prior charge experience is preferred. Charting system experience is required with knowledge of the specific system. Community hospital experience is preferred. Experience in LTAC and trauma cases is also preferred. Travel experience is required for applicants. A variety of skills and competencies are necessary for the role, including experience with various imaging procedures. Candidates will work with a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 260 patients, with around 150 visits per day. There is interdisciplinary support available within the facility. Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility as needed. Prior experience with the specific patient population and procedures in the job description is preferred. References covering one year of recent experience are required prior to the start of employment. Special procedures and unit details were not specified.
