Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices and individualized strategies for client treatment.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments that inform the therapeutic process and goal setting for each client.
• Facilitate individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date clinical records while ensuring compliance with ethical and legal regulations.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care and collaborative treatment approaches.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay informed of the latest advances in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families from various backgrounds who face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your ability to form trusting relationships will be crucial in effectively guiding clients through their therapeutic journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that facilitate effective communication and rapport-building with a variety of clients.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and other relevant technologies to manage client information efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or additional training in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly desirable.
• Prior experience working in outpatient settings or with underserved populations is advantageous.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
