The High Point Advance Medical PC in Sherman, Texas is seeking a committed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that meet the individual needs of clients.
• Provide a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to individuals, couples, and groups.
• Utilize innovative treatment methodologies and stay updated on best practices to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with all ethical and legal guidelines.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic client care and support.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and attend workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in the ever-evolving field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele spans a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and family dynamics. As an LPC, you will have the opportunity to work closely with diverse populations and tailor your therapeutic approach to effectively address their specific challenges, ensuring that each client feels understood and supported on their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Minimum two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards as they pertain to mental health counseling.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training or experience in family therapy, trauma-informed care, couples counseling, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools.

Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, along with additional performance-based bonuses.
