Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Unitex has several Production Supervisor shifts available for its locations in Linden and New Brunswick, NJ. We are actively seeking recent/new college grads to fill these vacancies. Schedule: First and second shifts are available. Depending on the plant location, weekends may be part of the schedule.

1st shift 6:00am - close (4:30pm or later)

2nd shift 2:00pm - 11:30pm

Compensation: The salary for this position is $65,000 per year plus bonus. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors. Excellent benefits.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily production requirements in a fast-paced environment
• Managing, training, coaching and disciplining a team of up to 25 people
• Updating reports based on the daily productivity of their department
• Training new employees on plant equipment and safety policies
• Approving weekly department payroll

Required Skills:

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Bachelor's degree
• Campus/college leadership experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for supervising people
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Solid work ethic, motivated, flexible, and a good problem solver
• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON SCHEDULED DAYS - punctuality is a must.
