Summary
A bilingual (English/Spanish) Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily food manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with consistent quality. This role involves leading and training production staff, coordinating workflows, and maintaining compliance with safety and food‐handling standards. The supervisor supports cross‐functional teams, resolves operational issues, and promotes a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and output targets
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff using bilingual communication
- Adjust schedules and workflows to meet operational deadlines
- Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, and other safety regulations
- Conduct shift meetings and maintain accurate production records
- Troubleshoot and escalate operational issues as needed
- Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams
- Support audits, inspections, and improvement initiatives
- Utilize production systems (NetSuite) and related software effectively
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; higher education preferred
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in food or CPG manufacturing
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‐solving skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing best practices and safety regulations
- Proficiency in basic office software and production tracking systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overtime
*** First Shift Supervisor is 9am-6:30 pm, Monday - Friday
*** Second Shift Supervisor is 6pm - 4:30 am, Monday - Thursday
