Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor, this position will organize and plan all aspects of the maintenance department’s jobs pertaining to work orders and preventive maintenance for a given group of crafts, equipment, and/or areas of the plant.

\ N \n \n \n \n JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES \ N \n

• Coordinate repairs, services, and overhauls of equipment for business unit.
\ N
• Assist in the management of the MRO budget for the business unit, including reports, and manage relationships with internal and external customers.
\ N
• Organize and plan all aspects of maintenance department jobs for a given group of crafts (mechanical, electrical, welding, etc.).
\ N
• Review work at job sites, develop bill of materials, and submit requests for ordering parts.
\ N
• Prepare and analyze periodic reports relating to performance of: backlog of written work orders, routine operating tasks, and preventive maintenance programs.
\ N
• Enter and implement newPMs into the maintenance CMMS system (SAP).
\ N
• Assign PMs, write and distribute work orders, and run reports of completed PMs and work orders.
\ N
• Assist in the preparation of equipment history as requested to assist in failure analysis vs. lines effectiveness. (OEE/WEV reports)
\ N
• Support planning labor hours regarding safety work orders and work orders related to sanitation as well as QCMS & QCDSM initiatives.
\ N
• Maximize equipment reliability, minimize the potential for production interruptions, and minimize the total cost of parts procurement.
\ N
• Assist the department in equipment history reporting and support failure analysis vs. lines effectiveness reports to identify where re-evaluation of PMs needs to take place.

• Assure timely completion of jobs, delivery of goods, and meeting budget requirements.
\ N
• Plan work orders.
\n
• Work with maintenance and production management and individual maintenance associates to plan and schedule work.
\ N
• Visit job sites if necessary.
\ N
• Develop Bill of Material (B.O.M.).
\ N
• Estimate total work costs (parts and labor).
\ N
• Prepare sketches/drawings as required.
\ N
• Facilitate part requests from maintenance associates.
\ N
• Improve efficiencies ofplanning functions.
\ N
• Analyze job performancemeasures for continued improvement. (KPI’s)
\ N
• Provide documented analysis of breakdown reports.
\ N
• Use breakdown reports to recommend and implement corrective action, preventive/predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement.

• Maintain and improve the existing preventive maintenance program.
\ N
• Work with maintenance and production management, individual maintenance associates, and production associates to develop a detailed preventive maintenance program for all equipment.

• Maintain, improve, and overhaul programs for assigned equipment.
\ N
• Document activities of the maintenance departments and report maintenance status to production, quality, and sanitation departments.
\ N
• Perform other duties asassigned by Maintenance Manager and Supervisor.
\ N
• Compile reports and work orders related to safety and sanitation.
\ N
• Participate on process improvement teams and promote teamwork.
\ N
• Evaluate new or proposed equipment.
\ N
• Assist in the preparation of equipment history as requested to support failure analysis vs. lines effectiveness. (OEE/WEV reports)

• Direct activities of contractors as needed.
\ N
• Teco’s finally confirmed orders daily/weekly in SAP system.
\ N
• Assist in the proper facilitation/documentation of transferred/disposed assets in the property system for business unit.

\n \n \n \n \n EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS \ N \n

• High School or GED required.
\ N

\n \n \n \n \n EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS \ N \n

\n
• Basic mechanical as well as electrical background.
\ N
• Able to organize, plan,and schedule jobs appropriately.
\ N
• Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems (SAP);
  3-5 years desired.
\n
• Advanced education or equivalent maintenance experience to possess technical literacy/comprehension.
\ N
• Strong interpersonal aswell as written and oral communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and plant personnel.
\ N
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
\ N
• Customer focus and understanding of Total Quality Management philosophies to facilitate change and continuous improvement initiatives.
\ N
• Negotiation skills, ability to influence, and persuasion skills.
\ N
• Analytical skills, decision-making skills, and problem-solving ability to apply problem-solving techniques and execute plans effectively.

• Organizational skills to work under pressure and autonomously, with the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as business needs dictate.

Salary: $51,493.50 to $78,100.00 per year

\n The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
