Air Traffic Control Specialist

Job Overview Position is the Alaska Flight Service District General Manager within ATO, Flight Service, Alaska Flight Service District, AJR-BALO. Eligibility To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J, FG/GS-14 level. Applicants must have specialized experience in an air traffic facility which demonstrates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the level of work of the advertised position. This experience must have provided a comprehensive knowledge of appropriate air traffic control laws, rules and regulations. Specialized Experience Requirements Detailed knowledge of the technical aspects of the work that is directed; Detailed knowledge of budget, human resource management, and other administrative policies and procedures; Knowledge of organization objectives and the FAA; Knowledge of the principles of management and strategic planning, and the ability to integrate the work of multiple organizational units/projects/programs to accomplish mission objectives.
