PT - Physical Therapist

Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Mon-Fri, 40 hrs/week

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician directions. This role is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community reintegration. The Physical Therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and codes of conduct.

Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.

Document all patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Ensure that care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.

Participate in student programs as assigned, fostering an educational environment for learning.

Create and pursue an individualized professional development plan to enhance clinical skills.

Adhere to regulatory standards and maintain professional licensure in good standing.

Demonstrate awareness and involvement in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.

1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.

Current CPR certification.

Active and applicable state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
