If you're confident, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where your expertise truly matters, nights at WakeMed North may be the perfect What You'll Be Doing: As an RRT at WakeMed North, you'll evaluate, treat, and manage adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients with respiratory illnesses and cardiopulmonary disorders across a variety of clinical settings. You'll play a key role in improving patient outcomes by:

Licensure Licensure & Credentials
Education Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Required
Experience No Experience Required
- Performing comprehensive respiratory assessments and diagnostic procedures
- Delivering all respiratory care treatments as ordered, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and airway management
- Evaluating treatment effectiveness and adjusting care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Educating patients and families to support understanding and continuity of care
- Responding to emergency situations and providing life-saving respiratory support
- Documenting care in the electronic medical record with accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism
- Adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- A diverse patient population in a collaborative, supportive environment
- Greater autonomy and clinical decision-making
- Strong teamwork and support during overnight hours
